    Beste Forexfoxers,

THE CEAF ELITE TRADING SYSTEM has a discretionary based methodology (Ned: Een semiautomatisch tradingsysteem, dus deels met computers, maar met input van experts). The system identifies the distribution of the market, time and price to establish which participants are involved in the market at any given time.
The system is based on each investor´s current and future perceived value of the market, irrespective of their trading time and current cycle.

    Risk Management
A maximum of 2% risk per trade is employed. Trading stops for the day if there is a 6% loss.

Why is the use of stoplosses so important?
For anyone stepping into trades in the financial markets, no matter what platform or instrument, the use of stoplosses (and a good strategy) is very important. Here at CEAF we have a saying: “Plan the trade and trade the plan”. Without a stoploss you leave open a potential of your entire account being zeroed in one trade. It will not happen often, but if it does it’ll blow you out of the market. Trading like this, you might as well burn your money! We at CEAF utilize a 2% stoploss to give the trade we execute room for movement. We keep the stoploss tight to limit losses. The second more important point behind stoplosses is capital preservation. As any investor knows that this is a top priority.

    Conviction rate
The number of contracts/lots executed is based on the conviction (mate van zekerheid) and potential reward of the trade. High conviction trades will utilize the maximum 2% risk per trade, according to the money management structure. This conviction rate is determined by both the model and input of our experts.

CEAF traders expertise, predominately focuses on the psychological side of the financial markets. We have been mentored and coached by the leading specialist in the art of psychology, such as Adrienne Toghraie, Jake Bernstein and Dr Richard McCall (The Way of the Warrior-Trader) all of whom have taught the most successful traders all over the globe.
Prior to the trading day, we go through daily techniques that enable us to be in the zone and be prepared for any surprises, these include:

    Visualization techniques/Mental Picturing:
    What is it?
    Visualization techniques/Mental picturing are an imperative point to becoming a successful trader. We do this because training the brain improves the entire outlook of the trader. Visualization /mental picturing is especially good in two areas;

    1. Motivation and goal setting. By goal setting we subconsciously tell ourselves that anything below is a failure, and this is a huge motivation factor for anyone. An example of this would be having a model Porsche on your desk; you tell yourself that within a year that model Porsche will be outside your office in real life gleaming in the sunlight. This will become the driving force behind you getting up at 5.30am every morning and working to the best of your ability to achieve that goal.

    2. Another example is the actual visualization of the coming trade. This technique is also coupled with mental picturing, when done correctly can achieve amazing results.

    Psycho- Cybernetics
    What is it?
The name ‘cybernetics’ is related to the Greek word for kybernetes, meaning the steersman of a ship – steering towards the goal. A key point is that cybernetics looks at systems where actions are influenced by feedback received from the results of prior actions. In other words, we can learn by our mistakes, or learn as we go, let’s say that you’ve set a goal and that you’ve made some efforts to reach it. You can review your efforts to date and change your game plan. You can put into effect a course correction. Oftentimes you won’t reach your goal by heading in a straight line without any hitches along the way. It’s more like a zigzag as you correct your heading now and again. We at CEAF don’t see trading as a job, but more as a lifestyle. The point behind being successful in the trading world is that you have to live it, its 100% or nothing at all, anything less than 100% could potentially lead to losses.

We understand the importance of emotions in the financial markets, especially the forex market. With our unique trading software, we aim to keep our perception of the market very simple, with respect to whether the market is in a state of indecision, fear or greed.

    Trading Opportunities
As said: The lot size and targets of each trading position is based purely on the conviction of each trade.

The amount of trades per day will also vary, depending on the trading opportunities.

    Succes in oktober!!!

    Hello Sijbrand,
We are happy to answer your questions, we have two types of profitable exit strategies:

1)Target: These are based on predefined areas after the entry of a position.
2)Runners: If the conviction of a potential long term trade is high, we will implement a trailing stop feature to lock in profits and maximize the upside gain, as long as the price is moving in our direction.

    Risk Management:

We have two full time risk managers in house. Their roles and responsibilities are:
    Managing trading positions
    Monitoring order flow
    Assessing incoming fundamental news
    Trade reports and evaluation sheets.

    Hope the answer is satisfying!
